So I am familiar with the joint pain in the usual places...knees, ankles, toes, wrists, elbows and fingers.  Now I have the most insane joint pain in my jaw, right in the joint where the upper meets lower.  I can't chew and sometimes I can't open my mouth to get the food in.  Has anyone had joint pain in their jaw?  It seems strange and I haven't read about it anywhere.  I am waiting for the Humira to kick in so I don't want to call the doctor just yet.

I had that a few years ago. I couldn't even jog because each step made my jaw hurt, LOL. It did stink. I hope the Humira helps - I went on a 60 mg pred treatment to resolve the joint pain I was having.

when I'm flaring in joints, one of the places is my jaw left side, I broke it there twice, so it tightens up, and just hurts to do a lot of chewing. it only hurts tho, where it was broke.

I am just relieved to hear someone else has joint pain in the jaw. Sometimes when I tell the doctor stuff he acts like I am talking crazy so at least I know it's not all in my head.
