im having my first resection surgery next week. it will be done laproscopically. Having the surgery done doesnt bother me much, but what does bother me is my anxiety issues. I am worried about
waking up to all the stuff attached to me, like IV's, straps on my legs, a catheter in me, and possibly a tube down my throat. Im worried my anxiety will be bad when i wake up.
Can someone help calm my nerves. Will I be so out of it when I wake up that i wont notice all that stuff? Whats the typical experience with laproscopy surgery as far as walking?, will they get me up the same day of surgery, or wait until the next day. I hope it will be soon so i can get some of that stuff off of me quick.
I know i should be worried about the pain in all, but all the little things are whats bothering me.
