Hope everyone keeping ok!

Has anyone tried Aloe Vera Juice?

What were the benefits to you?

Anyone living in the uk that can tell me best place to buy?

(Living in Ireland )Have you tried Holland and Barrett or Boots? maybe you could ask the chemist at your local pharmacy? I haven't tried it myself but i've heard it's quite good,if you find/try it please let us know how you get on.

Just read below your comment you have osteo too.
when was you diagnosed I have it in my hips and spine but to me feels like in my shoulders and knee too??

I have heard of others trying this, but really not having much success with it, plus I heard it tastes horrible. Good luck!

I did try it for a while but don't feel it helped me - not to say it won't help you of course.

It was quite expensive at the time and no matter how I took it I always feel slightly nauseous for a couple of hours aftewards and I still had very loose bowels - in fact I thought that side was worse when taking it - so after a month or so I stopped. I think it just didn't agree with me.

I still keep a plant in the kitchen for burns though!

Hello!

Aloe vera juice is too acidic for people with digestive dieases BUT aloe vera oral GEL is great! i use "lilly of the valley" that i buy here in Canada. there is a huge difference between the two.

its great for healing the digestive track and it helps your joints as well. i usually have 1-2 tbs in the morning with fresh juice that i squeeze. if you never get constipated i would lower the dose to 1 tbs a day (or less if it still gives you diarrhea).

my sister lives in Ireland and she found a fig-flavoured gel but she still couldnt deal with the taste. i, on the other hand, got used to the bitterness that you taste!

I tried this about a year or so ago, unfortunately found no success. My friend actually had an aloe party (you know like body shop parties virgin v parties etc) and they actually had different flavoured gels but they were more expensive than the bog standard.

Although holland and barrett is much cheaper! Even though the gel did not work for me, i swear by the hand creams etc, they have one very similar to deep heat and it works wonders compared to normal deep heat!
