  i have been given moviprep for a colonoscopy , any tips because i have never heard of this before , i used another prep not sure what it was called but it tasty very salty and horrible and i had to take 4 sachets , but with this one its only 2 so thats a bonus

Good luck with your colonoscopy. Unfortunately I have lost count at how many colonoscopies that I've gone thru over the years. I think the "prepping" is the worst part. Once you get to the hospital they really put you out a lot better than years ago. You will do great & I wish you all the best. Keep us posted on your results.

The first time I was prescribed MoviPrep, the sales rep happened to be in my GI's office. The rep suggested mixing the powder with flavored Vitamin Water (lemon/lime, lemonade or citrus flavor only) instead of tap water. It worked like a charm. There was a slight salty aftertaste but nothing horrible or gross. I just took sips of ice cold water in between to wash the aftertaste away. Never felt sick or anything like that, and no horrible headache (had that with a previous prep which was in pill form). Best of luck to you!!

i have had a coloncscopy and i have some scarring and stricturing by my ileocaecal valve . i have had some polyps removed and i have pseudopolyp formation , what ever that means as i have never heard of it . thank you for your support , misty x
