How long should one wait to have their remicade infusion following a resection?

My GI talked to my surgeon and they decided what was the best. I think they said 10 or 12 weeks, but I don't remember exactly.

I'm on Humira, not Remicade, but my GI and surgeon also discussed and agreed to an approach post-op. My GI said that the two different surgeons that she primarily refers to have differing opinions on how soon to restart.

And that decision may depend on how well you do during surgery and recovery.

So the next day after draining a fistual would be fine for starting Remicade?
