Fibrotic appendix on path report

I was reading over some of my medical report from my surgery a year ago and noticed that it said my appendix was fibrotic!!!! As far as I could find from articles on the internet, this is from repeated incidents of appendicitis!! Has anyone ever had this as an incidental finding after surgery? They took my appendix out for good measure when they did my resection. I found this to be very interesting, especially since I had been having some right sided pain. Anyway, glad it's out.
