Postpone Humira, take early or travel?

I have a lot of trips/vacations out of state coming up & I was wondering what in the heck should I do with the Humira? I just had my last Humira last night and it was the last of my loading dose. I think my next one is scheduled for later on next week and I'll be out of state then. Do you think I should wait a few days(maybe 4 days) and take it when I get back home, travel with it or just take it a day before it's scheduled? This is all new to me. Has anyone postponed it a few days with no issues like reactions or it not working well? Do I just pack it in a ice chest if I decide to take it with me? Does taking it early overload my body with it(It will

only be a day  or two before it's scheduled like I mentioned above)?  I just need some insight!   I got a Humira cool pack but I play it safe when it comes to medication so if I were to take it I'd put it in an ice chest. It just seems like too much of a hastle to worry about bringing it & I don't like the headache that comes with the injection. Won't be much of a 'vacation'. I guess I'm just worried because I haven't really seen any results with the Humira yet and I don't want to scew up my chances of getting into remission quick! Any advice would help me so much!

I personally would just take it with me. How much of a hassle is it really? When I started Humira, they sent me this giant "welcome" pack, with a mini insulated bag & mini ice pack to use if I had to bring my pens anywhere. This past summer, I had to take one with me on vacation, no biggie- just froze the ice pack, stuck the insulated bag in the cooler (which we brought in the car anyway), & 10 hours later it was in the fridge in the hotel. I don't like messing with the dosing schedule on the biologics, nothing good has ever come from it in my own experience.

I have to give my GI a call anyways because I just looked at the box of Humira that the Humira company sent me and it said to take one pen every week but my GI told me a few days ago he'd write the prescription for one pen every two weeks. Grr! I might not even have to worry about it if my GI wants to go with his original plan. Thanks!
