Ileocostomy Update and Ileus Complications

I had surgery on January 19th.  Surgery was a success, removed approx 3 inches of illeum and 3 inches of colon and reconnected.  Apparently it was good i did it when i did because possible fistulas were forming that would have only complicated the surgery down the line.  The surgery was able to be done laproscopicaly.  I was out of the hospital in 7 days.  I felt like i was improving for the next few days until all of a sudden my intestines just stopped working.  Pain was really bad.  Just did another week in the hospital.  Doctors arent sure exactly what the issue is but they think it is a wound infection that is causing ileus "blockage or slowing of intestines".  Everything started working again and my fever went away and i came home yesterday but now it is starting to feel like the intestines are slowing again.  I am pretty discouraged.  I really dont want to go back.  Anyone else have issues like this after surgery and have any advice?
