medication = diarrhea?

I take Metoject (methotrexate injections ) , asacol , prednisolone and ranitidin.
last week i didn't have loose stools for about a week and then this weekend i got diarrhea...
The thing is i don't feel worse in my stomach when i eat or anything , i just have diarrhea.
I DO got a inflammation in my colon but i havent been suffering from diarrhea for some weeks.
Could it be because of my medications side effects ?
I read the side effects on all those medications and they say 1/10 get diarrhea and also loss of apetite.

Do i have to worry that my inflammation is getting worse or is it because of my meds ?
Is there anything i can do to make sure im not getting worse with the inflammation ?
I heard that Diarrhea from metoject could be a toxic side effect and it may require quit the medication immedietly but i can't do that unless i talked to my doctor.
Metoject is known to give upset stomach. Im worried but i can't contact my doctor for 2 weeks because he is on vacation.

Anyone been in the same situation ?

Hi Alexx, it could just be your crohns causing the D. Did you try taking immodium to see if that helps? If you truly think it might be a side effect can you contact your primary doctor or go to an urgent care center? Hope things calm down soon.

Doctors don't wanna give immodium , i really hope im not going in to a big flare again.
Im unsure if its a side effect but it really could be since i got this medications and they all have diarrhea as side effects + that i have chron's .

Hi Alexx, as Lamb61 has mentioned it could be D associated with Crohn's. Another suggestion would be that this might be a side effect of Asacol. I guess it is like Pentasa. Sometimes when I have persistent D my doc tells me to reduce the pentasa dose if I take 4g. However, he has never explained the reason.
I took MTX injections for 6 months and never attributed D to them and always thought that my D is related to my Crohn's.
Can't you get any anti-diarrheal drug? If still D persists, go to the ER.

Okay im kind of concerned now because when i go to the bathroom and do my thing ...
It smells like aceton and pure liquor when i take a dump . Can that be a toxic side effect ?
And the ''D'' might be a mix with my Chron's and side effects. i've been feeling fine until today when my stomach has been grumbling really much. I do have good and bad days so this might just be a bad day , i really hope im feeling better until sunday . Going on vacation.

Alexx, why don't you go to the ER and ask for advice esp. that you say that the stool has a smell. I know that I have lactose intolerance and when I increase dairy products, I have watery D that has a foul smell and not that of acetone. IMO, you should seek medical advice.

its almost cleared up now i think it was side effects since i found out that metoject ( methotrexate ) can give the stomach problems to digestive food and i found food parts in the stool . But as i said my doctor is at vacation for one more week and i don't know what ''ER'' is ? and i actually drink milk without lactose in it and all diary products exept butter and cheese because my doc said butter and cheese almost don't have any lactose in it.
