FIR treatment for crohn's disease

I recently came across an article which claims that Japanese scientists have successfully found a cure for crohn's disease through Far-Infrared therapy(FIR).
Has any one tried it? Is it effective? Or just another marketing gimmick?

I agree with Beave. IF there was a cure your GI doctor would call & tell you & it'd be ALL over the media. The price for the cure, at first, would probably also be extremely insane also.
