Saw Two GIs but.....

I saw two GIs today. The first one told me that the pain I have suffered from is hypermotility and as my character is a bit enthusiastic and I'm anxiuos by nature, he prescribed Prozac and another antipsychotic along with motility regulators.
The other one saw that anal fissures are the cause of my proctitis problem and I should have a surgery to remove the anal fissures. I told him that my previous GI and the colorectal surgeon told me never to be operated and he told me that this is true had I had Crohn's.
No one of them solved my proctitis problem. I haven't had a bm since 9 days.
They denied IBD altogether and treated my condition as IBS.
I went back to square 1.

You know, not that you have a motility issue at all, but Prozac and some other SSRIs are effective at reducing bowel pain. The bowel has the most nerve endings of any part of your body, and the effectivity of the medications on your brain is also true in your gut. It might be worth a shot.

Anyway, I'm glad you got to see two other GIs. But what you really need is a GOOD GI. Let's do some crowdsourcing. What city do you live in?
