Humira stops working a few days before next dose

Right now I am on Humira every 10 days. I began 1 year and half ago at every 14 days and my GI bumped it up to 10 because the last few days were brutal. Last October or so it started happening again but before the 10 days. So he gave me azathioprine and that helped me get to the 10 days until I had to stop taking it because of elevated liver function. So now, I'm having the same problem. I'm perfectly fine all week and then about 2-3 days before my next dose I have horrible abdominal pain, loose BMs, pain in perianal area,etc. I'm going to see my GI in about 3 weeks and am going to talk to him about this. I don't know if there is something I can do the few days before my next dose or he may want to up the dose to every 7 days but I am very hesitant about that. Everyone in my family says something along the lines of " Go ahead just inject even more poison into your body."
That irks me, it isn't poison, it's helping me live a normal life. But, I'm getting off topic. So has anyone else had this happen? What did you do to get to the next dose without any flare up? TIA

I have this problem. I take my Humira once every 7 days. I was on every 14 days but because the disease was so severe(like most pediatric cases) we bumped it up to once a week. The GI & Rhuemie were debating bumping it up again to every 4 days(A lot of pediatric Rhuematologists do this for their JRA patients) but I think I'm doing well enough and my GI is debating switching meds altogether to Cimizia.

Almost all Remicade/Humira Crohnies I know experfiance this. It's just part of the beast that is Crohn's Disease. If it stops working all together I'd deffinately call the GI(or if the symptoms are unbearable).
