2busy! Welcome to HW!! This is a great site to learn or throw a suggestion/question out and get some good feed back. Give yourself sometime to deal with your new dx (diagnosis). I think it took a year to wrap my brain around it and I was even mis-dx for a long time.
My kids were 13 and 16 when I was dx. Now, they are 24 and 21. I wasn't a stranger to hospitals either as I've had lots of other fun junk going on with my body. :(
Anyway, the stress of raising kids was enough for me to flare quite often. My husband traveled weekly so I was on my own and it was alot for me to deal with. My advise ...don't sweat the small stuff. Let dishes go till the morning n' stuff like that.
Also, I know my kids say now they wished I would have found other kids that had/have parents with Chronic Illnesses for them to vent or hang out with. Like possibly starting a "support group" in school...just other kids they have that in common with. It forces kids to deal with some adult issues young but in the long run they are so compassionate later in life. Welcome again...
