I think budenofalk is probably what we call Entocort or Budesonide here in the west. It is a steroid that treats the terminal ileum and causes very few side effects, so hopefully it will help you. It is not a long term solution. Usually DRs use this medication for just 3-6 months, while they are working out a long-term plan.
Remicade use varies person to person, and yes, it is very expensive. I don't think there is a lower cost alternative because these medications are new and have taken a long time to develop and test. But yes, some people use more than others, and some take it more frequently than others. And it is important for many to use hydrocortisone before a remicade treatment so that you don't become allergic to the remicade.
