vomiting without nausea

Have had issues pooing the last week or two, been taking epsom salts but even they aren't helping much now but the last few days it's felt as though the food is sitting in my oesophagus.. now have started vomiting but don't feel nauseous at all.. I have NEVER been sick without feeling sick.. WEIRD :-s Should I be worried at all?

Sorry that you are suffering. Sorry I don't know what is meant by epsom salt. Does your stomach hurt? I have gastritis and duodenitis and it happens that I vomit w/o nausea. Do you take any meds for stomach? When I have a stomach flare up because of eating something wrong or because of meds like pentasa, I normally take Nexium, Mucosta(anti-ulcer drug) and I add Zantac. I eat bland food, like mashed potato or very soft food for a couple of days.

Hi--I strongly suggest calling your GI asap. The symptoms you are having sound like their might be some activity in your esophagus or that you may have a blockage. Let's hope not. But, please call the doc. Us chronies dehydrate very quickly if we vomit.

Maybe you should stop the Epsom salts....I don't know why you take them...not a typical thing to take, but maybe it isn't agreeing with you

the GP and GI have me take the epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) as a laxative otherwise I am constipated.. but yeah, I stopped taking them yesterday because I just couldn't face them.. I knew I'd just vomit them straight back up.. NBM for now I think..except for small sips of water.

biopsy showed chronic but inactive gastritis minnie.. I've been having no issues with that.

I get this from Reflux sometimes.
