Shouldn't remicade have done something by now?

I had my 4th (double dose) infusion three weeks ago and I've been mega-flaring for a week. I was never able to tell if remicade was working in the first place because I was always tapering off prednisone at the same time and, low and behold, once again I'm relapsing after tapering off prednisone. I was expecting to see results with the remicade by now but I'm wondering if I should even continue with it because obviously it doesn't seem to be doing a darn thing. Or am I just being impatient? Should I continue with the infusions and see if maybe the next one does something?

I already have zero patience for this. It's been a year now. A YEAR. And still no sign of hope anywhere. Ugh, I'm so tired of this. -.-

Oh, I haven't been on remicade for a year - I started it in April. I've just been in a flare for a year now. My first treatment was prednisone/lialda and lialda made things worse. So then we moved on to remicade. I've been on and off prednisone 5 times (usually less than a month each time) and haven't had a bone density test. They did take a calcium test a few months back and that was fine. But I am concerned about going on prednisone again - seems like it's less and less effective each time. :\
