Am I putting humira on right?

I have been putting Humira on for almost 2 years now. I used leave my thumb on the "plum" button the whole time. But it seems as I have gotten more used to it I just press the button and take my thumb off of the button. My mom says maybe I'm not getting all the medicine in by not holding down the button because with regular syringes you have to hold it down for it to keep injecting. now I feel the medicine going in, the yellow window goes down just the same and I take it off 10 seconds after. There is no medicine dripping or anything. So my question is does it matter if you hold the button down or not?

yup- just keeps it pressed against your skin...you don't have to hold it down. i squeeze the area im injecting into press the button and hold until i hear the little psssst noise. then i slowly lift the pen up. sometimes no liquid leaks, sometimes a bit of med does and sometimes it bleeds like i stabbed myself with a butcvher knife...really weird.

Funny, I cannot do the shots in my stomach because of the unbearable pain. I do mine in my thighs every second week, alternating legs. The left is way more sensitive than the right. I was told to hold down the button for 10 seconds.

I am just happy it's working for me!!!
