Will rectal bleeding increase if Canasa Sup comes out after inserting

Ive noticed over the last week Ive had a bit of an issue with my Canasa suppository Im to use it 2 times a day. Problem is Im using it when my bowels are most active first morning and then after dinner, So Im not getting the benifit of the suppository as they are coming out within an hour or 2. Does it matter what time a day I use these? I noticed that my rectal bleding has increased when I dont bother using it at all like last night for instances. Theres no point if its just going to come back out. I cant remember if I asked this before or not so If Im repeating myself Im sorry its 4:40 in the morning and im tired and have to work today. I would like to add insomnia to my list of issues now.

Sorry that you are suffering. This has always been my problem w pentasa suppositories but neither my GI nor my surgeon could understand it. So, I used to ask for enemas instead of supps. Unluckily, the last injury I did to myself w the enema left me w only the supps. For 4 days now, I can keep them w/o rushing to the toilet (keep your fingers crossed). I think there might be two reasons. First, I was prescribed metronidazole (flagyl) supps along w the pentasa ones and I think that it could be calming the inflammation down (though I can't feel it). The second could be that both my GI and colorectal surgeon told me implicitly "take it or leave it". They said if you could tolerate the supps ok, if not you are taking pentasa sachets 4g and that's enough and you are not allowed to take any kind of enemas. It seems that I decided to push myself to tolerate the supp.
Try to have a bm before inserting them. Try to take them before bedtime so that you keep them during the night. If you could ask your GI for a flagyl supps prescription, it would be much better. I normally get vomiting and nausea as a side effect of metronidazole and asked to have Zofran injections and this was approved of. So far, I can manage.
