I have been on the modulen diet for two weeks and i dont think its going very well.
I'm also on pentasa.
I feel like the modulen is making me very tired and tearful and i'm still running to the loo 10 - 15 times daily.
Should i stick it out or stop?
Thanks

Tired and tearful is a sign of not getting enough energy... I was like that, and worse, on the elemental liquid diet. Either you're not drinking enough Modulen or you're not absorbing it properly - probably the latter considering how often you're going to the loo.
My instinct is to tell you to stop, but I would speak to your GI first before doing changing your diet. I presume it was prescribed by your GI?

I was on enteral nutrition exclusively in the past. I used Nutren 1.5. My doc had me meet with a nutritionist to talk about
calorie intake I would need. At the time my symptoms were pretty mild but it took about
a week for my system to adjust. Till then all BM's were D. Back then it worked well for me and I stuck it out for two months. Suggest you talk to your doc, make sure you're getting enough calories. And if your doc wants you on the diet... Don't give up too soon.

The last post from Jessmile looks like spam to me.
The "diet" is all artifical processed food and is NOT designed for gut healing.

Spam alert
. Post should be deleted: dropping weight quickly is the
last
thing that most Crohn's folks need to do.

I tried something similar and couldn't tolerate it either. Sorry you are having to deal with this.
