Gall Stones

On my most recent Ct Scan the report noted 14mm heavily calcified gallstone within the gallbladder lumen. No fluid collection seen. Does anyone know if this is considered a large gallstone? Would this cause abdominal pain? Most of the abdominal pain is not in the area of the gallbladder and most of the pain seems to come after a bowel movement which could last all day. Pain less when I stand. Gastro doctor says he doesnt think the pain is caused by the stone but I have heard people mention that it could be a symptom. He thinks pain is from my crohns and a spastic colon. Thanks.

I had my gallbladder out in 2004..My main complaint was severe indigestion and and pain in the right rib cage area front and back..I had stones lodge in the common bile duct which caused a massive infection and back up and I got real sick then I had to have open emergency gallbladder removal, and I did not heal well. I had severe diarrhea afterward, and my intestines stayed inflamed..I could not tolerate any fat or spicy food..I would take care of the situation before you do get bad symptoms and can't have the nice laser surgery..Gallstones are common for cd sufferers along with kidney stones..
