oh spookydeuce - it's beyond horrid isn't it. I have been experiencing the same and finally (its taken some time) a bowel to bladder fistula was confirmed via MRI just prior to Christmas. I knew it was all along, like you with the constant UTI's. then wind, then bowel matter. All my tests have been done now and I am also seeing my consultant this week, a day before you, on Thursday. I'll post back what news I have, I know I will be going back on infliximab/remicade as that successfully healed a fistula that came out on the skin. I too wonder about
surgery but with the pain I have I would seriously consider it, I'm even going to ask to discuss it. I had a right hemicolectomy in 1999 which meant I had to have a colostomy for a year. After the initial pain of the operation I felt better almost immediately and honestly my experience of having an ostomy was a favourable one. Hopefully it won't come to that for either of us, thankfully it seems from other posters that this type of fistula can be treated without a huge operation. Please let us know how you get on, I am thinking of you.
