Hello tamsprote,
There was a lengthy discussion about
someone attending college and had Crohn's disease as well if you would to have a read-
www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=17&m=2517249I attended college at night after work and didn't have any significant issues at the time. I had classes only a few nights a week, so it wasn't too bad for me.
I also attended many IT certification classes at night, that was a little tougher. The classes that is, as they were 3 hours plus, per class, Monday, Wednesday and Friday's. Classes started at 6:30 PM and ran until 10:30 but usually we were doing labs and stayed until 11:30 PM. It was considered more of a boot camp, tons of information thrown at you in a short amount of time, the span of the certification/classes lasted 3 months. 7 tests to pass out of 14 and preparation time to take a test was considered to be a month's time before each test. 7 months to pass the 7 required tests to receive 3 different certifications to lead up to the main certification. Systems Engineer.
I never had any issues while attending college or any particular IT certification classes, a more mature environment than middle school or high school. In those schools I had privileges to use the nurse's bathroom. In high school I often ran off the school's property to go use the bathroom at my grandparents house who lived around the corner from the high school. Chased by the school's security guards, that was the easy part. Sneaking back onto the school grounds had been tougher.
Does the college also offer online classes by chance? If that's the route you want to take unless you prefer to attend the classes at the school of course.
