Don't worry; as long as you do taper down after two weeks, you should not gain the same weight that you did before. I have been on several tapering courses of Pred without putting on weight. The increased appetite seems to affect people differently: some become ravenous beasts, while others don't even notice it. The weight gain from steroids is probably a combination of eating more and a side-effect of the steroids themselves: they encourage water retention, but also eventually they will change the way the fat deposits, ie it will disproportionately go to your stomach and sometimes even your back (the 'buffalo hump').
But most folks do lose the steroid weight once they come off the steroids, as you did. And that's more of a long-term thing: with a short 2-month course, you should be fine.
