Hi Everyone -
For the last few months, my stool has been clay-colored. Over the last two weeks or so, the amount of BMs I am having has decreased, I keep getting blockages (managed by 20 minutes of 'massaging' my stomach until it passes along), and my stool has become super pale - like the color of sand, or a light beige. Generally speaking, it's always thin or in pieces... I eat healthy and consume more than enough water throughout the day. I don't drink sodas or juices... and I don't eat anything sugary or fried.
Anybody had any experiences with this? How did you 'solve' the problem?
I should mention that the nature of my 'typical' pain has changed. Although the normal areas are still hurting me the usual amount... there is a spot, or small area, around my right rib cage that is incessantly uncomfortable and I'm not really sure if it has a connection to this pale stool; however, it started around the same time.
I am sure you all can empathize with this feeling...but, I just have to say that I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I'm 19 and I am just so frustrated with life right now - it should be enjoyable and what not...instead, the majority of the time kinda sucks. Yes, I'm mkaing the most of it day to day and I am still running, spending time with friends, and going to classes - but, there is nobody to complain to and I just don't want to "be strong" every second of the day.
Any suggestions as to what could be the issue would be greatly appreciated! Still unable to get in to see my GI. They haven't called me back about the financial assistance for my GI and I've still not heard back about medicaid. So, until then... I'm relying on the student health center to at least make sure I'm not dying or something drastically obvious ;)
thanks,
Jade
