This week has not been my week. On Sunday, I started to have severe abdominal pain. I took all possible antispasmodics and injections but in vain. I called my GI and told him that the pain was persistent and he was shocked. Nothing could be done except adding new antispasmodic injections. So, I saw him and he told me that that was caused coz of reducing pentasa sachets. As for my proctitis, he insisted the surgeon sees me and considers a surgical intervention on which they both have to agree.
I called the surgeon for an appointment and he informed me that I have to fast and get ready for a proctoscope. He also mentioned that I might feel pain during the procedure as I have persistent incurable fissures. I had this scope done before and it was painless
To top it all, I saw the dentist today coz of pain in my teeth. To my surprise, he told me I have 4 teeth that have to be extracted but one of them reached the root and if if is left as is, it can develop puss. So, the surgeon talked to the GP and she said that I have to prepare myself as some complications might arise. She mentioned that the big number of meds I take together can react and cause me problems. What should I do? I'll ask my GI about
any precautionary measures to do before I extract the tooth. I ended up doing every single thing in my life after consulting my GI.
Thank you very much for listening.
