Many of you are a lot worse, and would wish for my issues. I know I've thought the same about others.

I went to the GI a few weeks ago everything had been goin good, my bloods came back normal so hey everything's great huh.

Well for ages I've had this feeling of not being able to pass gas without seriously straining (seriously thought I was going to wet myself at one point lol) an well recently Ive just shuffled around a lot and free up the gas and it eases out then my stomach grumbles and I urgently need the bathroom, at those points my bm are very loose and nasty, and I always have severe pain in my upper abdomen (I suffer with severe upper abdo pain normally anyway) but my normal bm are always very thin and I worry they've missed something should this be my normal?

I just worry cos for the past 4/5 years I've not made 12 months without being hospitalized and it's coming up to that time... Lol so im probably iver analysing and I'm fed up of spending hours at a time on the toilet

I hope the rest of you are well and this spring forward hasn't messed up your internal body clock like it has mine :)

if it were me,, I would ask for a sigmoid-oscopy.. to check your sigmoid-colon.. and the rectum, I had the same problem and some more problems and they found my sigmoid and half my rectum had collapsed and died, and it had to be removed, so I`d check if it`s inflamation, causeing your problem?. maybe meds will help. I have a high pain thresh hold.. and never complained. until it was to late, now i got toilet trips half my day and pain out the wazoo, i go to see a surgen next month.. to see if a ileostomy will releive, the pain or will i still have the problem`s plus a stoma to deal with along with the pain, and incontanence.. cuz I only have 10% of my large intestine left and half my rectum.. I also got 2 perianal fistula`s one on each side, that drain 1 or 2 times a week, but as long as they drain, and don`t get infected I`m letting well enough alone, I had it drained as a teenager, and it made it worse..(fistulizing crohn`s) but that`s me.. you should get a sigmoid scope might save you alot of trouble down the road..? HOPE YOU FIGURE IT OUT...!!

Wow that sounds horrible, I'm so sorry this disease sucks, always appears to get worse before it gets better too! Hopefully your on the upside now!

I had a colonoscopy in September, it showed inflammation ulcers and all that other nasty stuff basically every where except my rectum and my cecum? I think that's what it was. I have some real bad inflammation and the bends of the large intestine at the top of my stomach which is what they're putting the pain down too... But my rectum looked fine but my anus was a mess and I ha a grade one hemorrhoid which I guess could cause the problem, I guess inflammation could have spread since then too!
Thanks for your advice it was enlightening, even if it heightens my paranoia too haha.

I'm going to keep an eye hopefully I won't keep my record of hospitalizations and I can hold of till my apt in June and discuss if no better, it could be stress knowing me...

Hi,
I had the strain to pass gas thing back when I was suffering from IBS symptoms along with having crohn's. What helped me was finding out what foods I was intolerant of such as lactose, fructose and some other foods that were identified through an IGG food allergy test such as egg whites. It felt like my insides were swelled up and I had tons of foul gas. It was horrible. Now my diet is pretty limited, but it makes all the difference in the world.
