What's causing the pain?

Recently a doctor suggested to me that my pain could either be caused from the Crohn's being active or it could be that my nerve endings in my intestines are sensitive from my resection. Anyway to tell the difference? I would have thought that if it was pain from the nerve endings it would be more in one place (I have only had one resection). Just curious if anyone has ever had this issue and could tell a difference.

Sorry that you are suffering. I haven't had any resections yet (keeping my fingers crossed) but I think your GI should be able to identify the cause of pain. Did he ask for any investigations? If pain is unbearable, call him.
