update on crohn's polava!!!!!!

im back, i had all my blood tests done and my x rays, i also had the skin test for tb done, went and saw the doc yesterday and they said it was a little bit positive probably because of me having a tb vaccination already when i was 14 years old, but any way, mynormal blood work came back good but my iron levels are very low, and the doctor would not discuss the results of my x rays with me she told me i have to wait till when i see the gastroenterologist, i cant quite decide if that is a good thing or a bad thing? my crp level was 1 which is good it means there is no immediate inflammation which does not give a clue to why im still running to the toilet 8 times a day i have been like this for 3 days now and oh my god! im getting sore, and also i does not give me any clue as in to why i am still in so much pain and always feeling sick, heres hoping when i see the gastroenterologist in 2 weeks she can shed a light on it and also give me a date for when i will have the gastroscopy again to determine how badly damaged my stomach is from the crohns, and maybe soon after get put on to the infliximab, i have my first appointment with the pschyciatrist next tuesday so here is hopeing everything there goes omk i just hope they have enough tissues im welling up just thinking about what is going on with me, so please everyone keep your fingers crossed everything goes well and that i will have new news soon and thank you all for your helpfull info, but if someone can give some insight in to what to do with the pain please tell me thank you. hu1988

Hi Sorry to hear you are having such a rough time, really hope that your Gastro soon gets you sorted out wishing you the best of luck that everthing goes well x

What does "Polava" mean?? I hope you get things sorted out and feel better soon! If you are anemic, then something is going wrong even if your CRP is normal

well i had my first meeting with the psyciatrist, she said i have to see a therapist as she only deals with the medical side of it all she has put me on citralopram, and alprazolam,now im just waiting until next thursday with the hope i will come out with a good out come either way i will not be leaving that room with out some sort of result, either i get the infliximab or i get put forward for the operation as now i am having enough my string has now run thin with always waiting and i think now is the time for action to get the results i need to be able to live a normal life again like before all this happened so heres hoping

am taking mesalasine 400mg 3x2 daily, prednisolone 16mg daily, azathropine 100mg daily, metformin 500mg 2x daily, folic acid 5mg 1 x daily, modulen milk 2x daily, magnesium 5oomg 1x daily, probiotics 1 x daily,

Given the 8 BMs a day you might want to reconsider your Magnesium dosage.

Since the psychiatrist recommended that you see a therapist, did he/she also refer you to someone special or leave it up to you to find one? Psychotherapy can be wonderful if you find one that you really like and are comfortable with.
