GI wants me to do the pig whipworm trial, anyone do it?

I am currently on Prednisone 15mg, have been tapering from 30mg and Imuran 50mg. Stomach pain coming almost daily with the decrease. My GI has been talking to me about his pig whipworm trials. He wants me to enter it if I keep having problems. He says the results are amazing with no side effects. I have had it with prednisone, so sick of the side effects. I fully trust my GI .. but has anyone ever done this before?  

personally, reading other studies that have been done I think it helps some but it is a temporary fix and you have to continually reinfect yourself bc the benefits go away as soon as the worms are gone. so if you want to eat worm eggs every 3 months for the rest of your life it might be worth a shot, but it doesn't seem to actually provide any healing or long term benefit that is maintained without continuous therapy. I personally would try Fecal transplant before I tried the worms.
