It's back again. I've had to go for intravenous iron in the past because my blood dropped too low, and I could not tolerate iron pills at the time. I found an iron supplement which is said to be gentler on the stomach and I'm assuming the Crohn's as well. It is non constipating, or that's what they say? It's an Iron Glycinate. Has any one tried it? It comes in capsule form which can be separated and sprinkled over food if one wanted to go that route?

My Daughter has tried two different gentler types. One was called Polyride FE. Can't recall the other, but it was the same iron type. Both caused the same constipating problems. All you can do is try it for awhile, but many recommend iron infusions.
