  Hello, I am having a bad flare and have went to the bathroom so much that now I think I have hemoroids. My bottom itches and is sooooo painful.What can I do? My gi called in cipro and flagyl already on predisone. Feeling very light headed when I move around.

Your GI can give you steroid suppositories to help with the inflammation and itching from the hemmies. While you are waiting to get in touch with him, try a warm sitz bath and cortaid or A&D ointment

You can try Balmex it should help your bottom.

Calmoseptine is the only thing that works for me--and works immediately. It's non-prescription, but your pharmacy may not carry it, so you'll have to ask the pharmacist to special-order it for you. Better than lidocaine, better than anything I've tried (and I've had a permanent fissure now for over a decade). Try it. And good luck. I hope that your poor bottom feels better really soon.

I second the Calmoseptine... Awesome stuff. Wouldn't hurt to try the steroid suppositories too to get it under control.
