I should of left a med list?

apriso 4 caps daily

colestid 2 twice daily

librax 2 4 times daily prn

aloe juice 4oz daily

as of today.. again, loperimide 2mg prn

                             prednisone 60mg for 2 weeks, then taper 5mg a week till gone

ive had my tb test... I am leaving humira as a last resort.

I just want to discuss symptoms. and therapy.. day to day life.

 I think I saw a normal stool. for the first time since diagnosis (that was over a year ago) and I cried, now all that is gone and im back at bleeding and diarrhea

You should add Vitamin D, I'd say at least 10,000IU a day when on prednisone. Calcium alone won't do the work.

Don't consider Humira as your last result until the symptoms are basically controlling over you.

For me, even IV steroids did not work for me in the past but I'm on Prednisone now because at least to bring the CRP down.

Don't be scared to go on Humira, if you respond very well to it, you might not even experience much side effects. But we won't know until you try it.

Getting your disease under control is the most important thing so, discuss your options with your doctor and see how you want to approach things.

Have you tried modifying your diet? or change the kind of water you drink? Maybe try a different mesalamine? I don't respond to Asacol at all as it makes my symptoms worse. So ask him about changing a few things around.

Look into Remicade possibly. Everyone is different, Entocort was a stabilizing med for me.
