I wanted to wish all are Veterans. A happy vets day. And to thank
you for the freedom that we have!

Me too! My father-in-law served in WWII, was severely injured, losing an arm and eye and scarred head to toe. He spent a year in a hospital afterwards. He died of colon cancer in his 50s before my husband and I met. I guess that fits more in the Memorial Day genre, but he was veteran and we're very proud of him.

I am proud to have baked and be serving the dessert for our free Veterans dinner at our lodge tonight. The trials and tribulations that our service members endure deserves any comforts that we can give to them. Thank you to all who serve and have served!
