I'll be moving this summer and am wondering if anyone has any experience with a doctor at Duke or UNC?

Dr. David Tendler in Durham is very good-right off I-40 (major/main artery for the area if you don't know) maybe two minutes on hwy 54.

I don't know of any but have heard many great anecdotes about UNC's GI doctors.

That said, go Wolfpack :)

Thanks for the reply. I'll be moving from Kansas so I don't know the area. I just had a resection a few weeks ago and want to make sure I have a good doctor once I move.

Kim Isaacs at UNC is brilliant, one of the best GI's anywhere in the country (she's up to date on the latest cutting edge research and conducts some of it) and hands down the best in the Triangle AFIAK (and this is coming from someone who went to Duke pediatrics when I was younger). Not sure how easy it is to get an appointment with her without a referral, but definitely worth a shot.

Thanks, I will definitely be having my current GI fill out the referral form found on the website and crossing my fingers that I can get in before next year.
