Thoughts on post op low grade fevers

I had a bowel resection about 4 weeks ago (only about 8 inches of TI and ileocecal valve) and since about 2 weeks post op have been running low grade fevers of about 99.5-100. At the time of the resection my surgeon said that he did not see any active disease in the area, but two months before surgery I had a colonoscopy that showed some inflammation and ulcers at the TI. I'm wondering if these fevers are somewhat normal or if this DD just won't leave me alone. My surgeon put me on 14 days of Flagyl at my two week post-op appointment because of the fevers and bowel movements I was having in the event that it was C-diff or a crohn's flare. The test came back negative for C-diff. My GI is not concerned with the fevers because they are not high. Anyway, I'm hoping for some insight from others who have had resections.

My appetite is ok, not back to normal yet but getting there. I have been more thirsty than usual the last few days. The only things I'm taking are Humira (restarted last week), B12, and vitamin D. I have a small amount of abdominal pain off and on throughout the day and my lower back started bothering me.
