I totally feel your ER pain. A similar thing happened to me last week. I went into the ER after blacking out with severe abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Stayed in the ER for 15 hours....they did at least run some tests, but the doc on call was going to let me go with some anti-nausea meds because he thought everything was connected to a UTI. He said I had white blood cells in my urine, but the rest of the bloodwork looked ok. I tried to tell him it was more than that and that this was a Crohn's flare. He said I could have some pain meds until we got the CT scan results back and ended up giving me Dilaudid, which I had had a severe allergic reaction to. I became almost unconscious, had respiratory suppression, lost feeling in my legs, chest pains, then began profusely vomiting again. Needless to say, at that point, they decided to admit me. Then the CT results came back showing severe inflammation in my left descending colon. I wanted to say, "I told you so." No more local hospital for me. I am going back to Johns Hopkins where my actual GI is located. Still a 2 hour drive, but so worth it.
Hope you are starting to get some relief and some answers!
