My first RV seton placement was a breeze. I took the next day off work, but really could have gone in.
I had to go back for another EUA last week due to a broken seton (1-1/2 yrs later) ... this time - I am now retired, but I would have wanted to take a few more days off. More pain where the seton comes out in the vaginal area, very very tired. I think it was because they added verced (sp?) to the anethesia mix and looked harder for a 2nd or 3rd fistula thus more pulling, tugging, etc. (no more fistulas found - whoop!). I took no pain meds, although some were prescribed.
I'm hoping yours goes as well as my first one did, no reason not to think it won't. But to play it safe, take 2-3+ days off if possible. You can always go back early if you feel well enough. Good luck!
