are these remicade side effects?

It's hard to say. These are all new symptoms? What other meds are you taking? How long were you taking it every 8 weeks before moving the schedule up? Did you notice any side effects before moving the time frame up?

Since I started Remicade, I've had a lot of dizziness/lightheadedness issues, and my joints have gotten much worse. The dizziness is likely partially due to some of the meds I'm taking but could also be because my BP seems to have dropped lately (it has recently be 95-100/60). I've been having Remi every 6-8 weeks for the last year.

I had so much pain in my joints and muscles about 2-3 months after starting Remicade. I saw a rheumatologist and he believed it was from the Crohns, not the Remicade. I do too. I take 5mg of Pred and it is completely gone.

They very well could be! I went through months of dealing with painful joints before I finally left my doctor to go to a major medical center, only to have the team of doctors tell me that my joint pain was actually caused by a sudden development of allergic reaction to Remicade. I could've avoided a lot of pain if if my doctor would have known this. She sent me to a Rheumatologist who diagnosed me with spondyloarthritis. I went back to the rheumatologist 6 months later and she was shocked that I had no longer had any joint pain or swelling.even though I hadn't taken any of the three strong medication that she insisted I go on for the joint pain. What a ridiculous mess it was hopefully this can help others too avoid the same situation. I'm doing awesome now on a low carb Paleo diet, actually off all medications except for occasional antibiotics. I have a Jpouch too. Good luck!
