Tysabri - fail - Stellera???

well, after 6 months of Tysabri my doc has discontinued it. No results what so ever, in fact I have gotten worse. Bowel obstruction in January, now I am anemic and doing IV iron for a month and once a month after that. they are wanting to try Stellera - Any one tried this???
Also, since my RV fistula disqualified me for a study, he is finally wanting to address it and get it looked at and possibly fixed. We shall see....

My doc is the head of gastro at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and love to get me into studies - with no results...

I am currently running out of options. I do not respond to biologics - at least not for any amount of time. After about 6 months they quit working.

Any one tried other options? tried SCD - no luck thinks that is what triggered the Bowel Obstruction.

Also, just thought I'd throw this out there for what it's worth since you're talking about last resorts. I was in a severe flare when I started the stelara. My colon looked like a bomb went off in it. My GI was recommending surgery, but he also knew he couldn't help me so he referred me to a better GI. The new GI thought stelara was worth trying and I have to tell you that within a week of getting the first shot I noticed improvements. Now that ive had two shots I've seen even more improvements. So.... Definitely try it if you think you can because here I am a month later feeling like a real person again.
