When doing endoscopy of upper GI (plus colonoscopy and PillCam) to find reason for my severe anemia, my GI found evidence of both Crohns and GAVE (Gastric antral vascular ectasia - also called "watermelon stomach"). Will be going in next month to have the GAVE cauterized, which should eliminate that as a bleeding source. Anyone else experience this? Did fixing the GAVE reduce the Crohn's issues?
thanks
