Does the moon face side effect from prednisone go away? I only have 6 days left with it, and I'm starting to wonder when my face will go back to normal.

Yes, it goes away. It can take a few weeks to a few months depending on how long you've been on the pred and how your body responds. Hang in there! I'm waiting for mine to go away too!

Yes I was on pred for pretty much an entire year and my basketball head returned to normal a few weeks after I got off of it.

It does go away eventually. I was on pred for a few months back in the day and my face went crazy round. It took a long time for my face to be completely normal again. Like 8-12 months. Hopefully your face slims down faster than mine did.
