UTI

Pain escalated and I took a painkiller injection but in vain. Managed to see my GI today. Once I told him that the pain is as if my right side is being squeezed, he asked whether I have burning sensation while urinating. I told him I keep rushing to the toilet and passing minimal urine. He said this is UTI. I commented I'm feverish and he said I told you this is not your intestines this time. He said what I have is spasm and that's why the painkiller injection didn't work. He prescribed an analgesic for colon and biliary colic and an antibiotic for 10 days and asked to see me afterwards. He mentioned that he'll reduce Imuran but I had a brain fog coz of fever and couldn't argue. Isn't the dose of Imuran based on one's weight? My WBC was 8.340 two weeks ago. If we reduce the 150 mg dose of Imuran, it will be raised again, right?
