New to the site just thought I would introduce myself. Im 32 years old from new York city. I've had crohns disease since 2007. I have never been in remission. Right now im in hospital from a flare. I get flares every two months. The gi dont understand that im in constant pain and try to tell me that with the right meds the pain well go away. Well its never gone away not better what i been on. Heres what im on now.
Imuran 150mg
Ascol 1.4mg 3day
they want to throw me on Humara soon.

Hi and welcome to the site. Some doctors don't take into account just how badly painful this disease can be. I used Asacol and 6-MP (it's about the same as Imuran) for many years and neither did that much for me, which sounds like it may not be that helpful for you either.

It may be time to consider something stronger. I hope you feel better soon. -Joy
