Honestly, I'd be more concerned about the steroids.
I've been on Remicade or Humira for a total of 12 years now. They gave me my life back. Prednisone really helps when things are bad, but I'm still paying for damage the Prednisone did 14 years ago. I avoid Prednisone unless it's that or surgery. My GI agrees, he won't put me on it unless it's getting really bad.
Never heard about the immunization link. I've been getting all my normal immunizations for years, including annual influenza, etc.
I just came off a pretty bad flare, and the only thing that worked for me was antibiotics and going on a full liquid diet for a few weeks. Gut rest is what they've always done for me in the hospital. I've never messed with cannabis, too much unknown. At least with the prescription medications, I've got legal recourse if something goes wrong.
