I was just wondering if having a small amount of bleeding with every bowel movement is considered normal with Crohn's. I had a colonoscopy earlier this year and it did show some inflammation in the rectum. My gi didn't seem like this was a problem. I have been having some bleeding now for six months or better and just some mild stomach pain off and on not to often or to bad.My only crohn's med is Sulfasalazine. Seems to me if it is an internal hemroid that at times it wouldn't bleed. I have no itching the only other symptom i can think of is, if i feel the urge to go it usually hits me hard a fast and have to run to the bathroom. Any info would be appreciated.

I agree that you may need to try suppositories or enemas to help calm your rectal inflammation. I know the mesalamine enemas would calm my rectal inflammation better than oral meds did. Usually hemorrhoid bleeding will be bright red blood, with bleeding from higher up being a bit darker. Tenesmus can be a good indicator that you've got rectal inflammation; at least it was for me.
