6 month post resection colonoscopy - experiences?

I guess I am a little apprehensive after what happened last time I had a test done - "Surprise, you have a micro-perforation and blood clots in your lungs aaannnddd need surgery!" So I am a little worried about what they 'will find' during this follow up 6 month colonoscopy. What are your experiences?

Perhaps you can extend the colonoscopy from 6 months out post-op to a year out. Also, I recommend that you let the physician know not to do anything drastic with your anal tag, if you still have it. Sadly, there are some ignorant doctors out there that excise them without realizing that they will come back, leading to many more operations.
