Humira vs. Cimzia vs. Entyvio

I have had Crohn's Colitis for 25 years. I had an allergic reaction to Remicade after the second round. Did Humira for 6 months and gained 80 pounds and eventually went into remission. That was 6 ears ago. I have been having difficulty controlling the current flare for about a year (now on the third round of the dreaded pred). My doctor is suggesting we try another round of biologics or look at surgery. Since I have already done the Humira (and Remicade), he is now considering either Cimzia or Entyvio. I know that all three drugs are biologics and that Cimzia and Humira are both TMF-blocking agents but I am still unclear as to what the difference is between the 3. If I did not respond to the Humira, am I more likely to respond to either of the other 2. How do the side effects compare? What is the advantage of one over the other?

Was it weight that you lost that you were able to gain back from Humira, or are you saying that Humira made you gain 80 pounds?

Thanks for the link about the biologics- very helpful. I've looked at some of the posts on the Entyvio. Would love to hear about people's experiences on Cymzia.

I was on Humira for 7 years...never caused me to put on a lot of weight. I am on entyvio now 6 weeks in the treatment. I see some good improvements. My Dr. says key benchmarking is at 10 & 14 weeks. I am optimistic. No side effects so far.
