My son (CD for 12 years tried all meds and diets), started vomiting and had extreme pain using the bathroom. He says the worst pain ever. He's also been burping a lot.

He gas been admitted to hospital for pain management. Abdominal X-Ray showed air in his small intestine. Could this be a blockage? Anyone have any similar experiences? Waiting on Dr. May be awhile dunce it's christmas.

Hard to say, but it could be something unrelated, like food poisoning or a virus.

A blockage should have shown up on an x-ray I would think. If he's still able to have a BM or pass gas, then it's not likely a blockage, unless it's only partial.

Terrible to have to be there at Christmas. Been through this as well. Hopefully the Dr. arrives soon.

Thanks for the reply.

It turns out my son has mild pancreatitis and Cdiff. Also since he contracted Influenza A a week ago he can't have his Remicade Infusion. The flu really messed him up.
