Please tell me the difference between remicade and humira.which one do you choose and why? My doctor just said ok you can't stay on prednisone and entocort anymore. So let's start something new with great results called humira. But when I read about it I almost hyperventilated.is there a doctor that can clear a little bit of this confusion up?

So Humira and Remicade are very similar, but Remicade is made partially out of a mouse protein. So some people might have more of an allergic reaction to it than Humira.

Remicade is an IV infusion that is typically done every 8 weeks. Humira is a shot that you give yourself every couple of weeks, or once a week.
