Butt issues

Ok so I am just looking for feedback on rectum issues....

As with many of you, the countless hours of sitting and straining have taken their toll on my rear.. I know they can do some sort of surgery for hemorrhoids, just wondering is anyone has had a rectal fix so to speak? Who, what, where???

I have a fistula in that area which right now is in a healed state - still a tunnel but no inflammation. My GI told me that I may be better off leaving it alone due to the possibility of surgery causing incontinence and further nerve damage. I usually get some relief with 5ASA or cortisone suppositories or enemas but not everyone does. And I use lanolin on the outer tissue.

Over the counter hemorrhoid suppositories do offer relief. Be conscious how long you sit and strain on the toilet. I'm currently sitting here with a plastic string run thru a fistula in an attempt to drain, heal it.
